Make the most of your time in Vatican City by taking a guided Vatican Museums skip-the-line tour. This tour also includes an expert overview of the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, allowing you to see both attractions on the same trip. The Vatican has a lot to see (the museums alone contain 15 collections), but our guide makes it simple and enjoyable. You’ll learn about the must-see attractions as well as the lesser-known tales behind the art. Don’t simply go to the Vatican to “see” it; go there to “experience” it with a native guide!
Begin by meeting your guide at the Vatican Museums’ entrance. This is where you’ll get your headsets if you’re in a party of six or more. We want to entirely make sure you don’t miss a single thing your guide says. You’ll head inside after admiring the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica from the terrace, where you’ll be astonished by the art treasures gathered by popes over centuries.
Your tour guide will take you to the most essential and attractive parts of the museum. Sculptures and paintings by Renaissance artists such as Raphael and Michelangelo are often favorites – those guys knew what they were doing. As you travel through the galleries, you may see tapestries, candelabra, maps, and other items, as well as a visit to the famed Raphael Rooms and the Borgia Apartment.
Your guide will offer advice on the best method to view Saint Peter’s Basilica, another jewel of Vatican City before you enter the chapel at the end of your trip.
Do you have further questions about things to see, do, or eat in Rome? Please ask! Our guide is well-versed in the best local secrets of the area (and loves sharing them).

FAQs
Is admission to St. Peter’s Basilica included?
